My inspiration comes from the natural world. I firmly believe that no matter where we live, there is every day a gift from nature to observe. In these short posts, I want to share some of the gifts I receive.
In the Tamar Valley bordering Devon and Cornwall, it's possible to come across some of the wild cherry trees which at one time dominated the area. Today's gift from nature to me was the sight of one of these trees. I could see the fruit beginning to ripen and swell. I wonder how many birds, insects and other creatures are waiting for the right moment to strip the tree of it's harvest??
